FAQs
Why should we attend?
There are plenty of reasons why attending District Conference is a good idea. We've thought of 10 - no doubt there are other good reasons too:
- Catch up with Rotary friends, and make some new ones along the way.
- Be inspired by great speakers.
- Get great new ideas as you hear what other clubs are doing to ‘put something back’ into their communities – both locally and abroad.
- Expand your knowledge of Rotary programs and services as you wander through the Exhibits in the Rotary EXPO.
- Kick up your heels with a fantastic social program – a chance to enjoy great food, music and other entertainment.
- Rest and relax amidst the beautiful and tranquil setting of Deakin University’s Warrnambool campus. Fishermen should take note that Bream and Perch are caught off the banks of the Hopkins River where the Conference is taking place.
- Get to know your fellow Rotarians even better than before.
- Stay an extra day or two to enjoy the many sights and activities of Warrnambool and surrounds.
- Support the team which is working hard to make this year’s conference affordable and memorable in every way.
- ‘Recharge’ your Rotary batteries – remember why you joined and marvel at the difference that Rotary makes to our communities.
