Breakout sessions are always a great opportunity to stretch the legs, and refresh the mind while learning from a group of enthusiastic speakers. These sessions will be held on Saturday afternoon and will focus on Rotary's involvement with our Youth and the Rotary Foundation. And striclty speaking they will not be breakout sessions, more like Break In sessions as the two main theatres - The Percy Baxter Theatre and the Alfred Deakin Theatre will continue to be used as the venues for the presenters.
So, take this opportunity to hear what has been happening in our fifth avenue of service, by learning more about how Rotary connects with Youth in our local and international communities.
A speaker will inform us on her journey through RYLA, including attendance at the international RYLA conference.
Another will keep us up to date on Rotaract.
A recently returned Rotary Exchange Student will introduce us to the world of Rotary International Student Exchange.
Alternatively, you can attend the Rotary Foundation sessions which will cover some of the international aspects of Rotary, and identify how communities are being supported around the world.
Hear the latest on the fight to eradicate Polio with Rotarians from Nigeria speaking about "End Polio Now" , and learn about the The Rotary Foundation Future Vision project and find out how your club could work in partnership with an overseas club to attract a matching grant.
These break in sessions will show how Rotarians are working with Communities around the world.
